QUALIFICATIONS:                          

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with special preparation in the areas of teaching.
• Valid Missouri Teaching certificate or substitute certificate for the state of Missouri.

• • This is a stipend position, not a full/part time position

  • Preference to those effective in teaching woodwinds, percussion, visual, or colorguard

  • Effective working in a team-teaching environment

  • Lead music and visual sectional rehearsals

  • Provide musical and visual feedback on field

  • Teaching and student supervision responsibilities for band events/rehearsals including Band Camp (July 18-22, 25-29), Parades (3), Football Games (4-5), Marching Band Competitions (4), evening rehearsals (Tuesdays), and morning rehearsals as available

  • Assist with equipment management including loading of trailers and transportation of equipment before and after rehearsals and performances

  • Assist in preparing students for District/State Band auditions during Fall semester as available
